Why 2 EV SPACs Jumped, While Another Dropped Today


The news of special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs) bringing electric-vehicle (EV) companies public continued today, after a new one was announced, another set its stockholder vote date, and a third had its lofty share price questioned. 

Share prices responded accordingly today, with the following share moves, as of 2 p.m. EST:

Forum Merger announced it will be merging with electric-delivery van company Electric Last Mile to form Electric Last Mile Solutions. It will be valued at about $1.4 billion and trade on the Nasdaq stock exchange under the new symbol ELMS.
