Will This Mega Streaming Stock Spell Trouble for Disney and Netflix?
Warner Bros. Discovery (NASDAQ: WBD) has announced it will merge its HBO Max and Discovery+ services into a new offering next summer. The company has yet to provide a name for the unified streamer, but promises it will combine the best of both platforms.
With this in mind, fellow entertainment companies Walt Disney (NYSE: DIS) and Netflix (NASDAQ: NFLX) could face some serious competition.
