Delivery of 1000th EJet components

The ceremonies marking the delivery of doors and fuselage sections of the 1000^th EJet were held in the presence of Embraer representatives and major suppliers, on April 5^th in the Latecoere Letov factory of Prague and on April 19^th in the Jacarei plant of Latecoere Do Brazil.

The contract for the development and delivery of the two fuselage sections on either side of the wings and all doors (passenger, services, cargo and emergency exits) was signed in 1999 between Embraer and Latecoere. After a development phase carried out partlyin Embraer plant in Sao Jose Dos Campos, the first deliveries were done in 2001 for the 170 version. This phase was followed by the development and deliveries of 190, 175 and 195 versions. Today teams from Latecoere Group in Toulouse, Prague and Jacarei (Brazil) are working for the Ejet program. The Jacarei plant, which employs 350 people, was built to carry out the assembly of fuselage sections according to initial commitments.
