Tessi acquires minority interest in Spigraph Group
Tessi today announces its acquisition of a minority interest in Spigraph Group.
The Spigraph group has expanded rapidly though organic growth and acquisitions to become the leading value added distributor (VAD) of document capture solutions and services in the EMEA market (Europe, Middle East and Africa). The group's turnover has grown from €24 million in 2011 to over €120 million in 2014. Spigraph currently employs 350 people.
Founded in 1997, Spigraph Group (formerly Spigraph International), based in France at Saint Quentin Fallavier, a town situated mid-way between Lyon and Grenoble, has subsidiaries and offices in 20 countries (Algeria, Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Morocco, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia and the UK).
Tessi's acquisition of a stake in Spigraph Group alongside the group's long-standing private equity investor, Isatis, is part of a move to strengthen the group's capital base after a phase of structural acquisitions, the last of which was completed in January 2014.
Tessi and Spigraph Group intend to use the new partnership as an opportunity for enhancing their respective offerings and know-how through the development of synergies.
