Die chinesische „Sinopec International Petroleum Exploration and Production Corp." bietet, und zwar über eine Tochtergesellschaft. Das Übernahmeangebot beläuft sich auf 52,80 Dollar je Aktie. Ganz offensichtlich strategische Gründe. Sinopec bzw. die chinesische Führung hat ein Interesse daran, sich Rohstoff-Vorkommen zu sichern. Und ADDAX hat in Westafrika Rohölvorkommen unter Kontrolle, fördert da fleißig.
