Nachdem die derzeit bei 120 Dollar verlaufende 200-Tage-Linie unterschritten wurde, was Chartexperten gewöhnlicherweise als klares Verkaufssignal interpretieren, liegt die nächste wirklich starke Unterstützung wohl erst bei rund 105 Dollar.
Auch fundamental kann man Begründungen finden, um einen Kursrückgang zu rechtfertigen. Auf dem chinesischen Mobilfunkmarkt ist Apple laut dem Marktforschungsunternehmen Canalys von April bis Juni auf den dritten Platz zurückgefallen. Demnach nutzten Xiaomi und Huawei ihren Heimvorteil und erreichten einen Marktanteil von 15,9 Prozent beziehungsweise 15,7 Prozent. Apple soll demnach erst auf Platz drei folgen, Samsung an vierter Stelle.
