Commerzbank-Aktie: Geldhaus hat Banken-Stresstest wohl bestanden
Die Commerzbank hat den Gesundheitscheck der Europäischen Zentralbank (EZB) Insidern zufolge offenbar bestanden. Das zeichne sich nach den vorläufigen Ergebnissen ab, die die Aufseher den deutschen Banken in der vergangenen Woche erläutert haben, sagten mehrere mit der Übung vertraute Personen am Montag der Nachrichtenagentur Reuters.
"Nach den Aufsichtsgesprächen deutet nichts darauf hin, dass die Commerzbank durchgefallen sein könnte", sagte einer der Insider. Die zweitgrößte deutsche Bank war wegen ihrer Milliardenbestände an riskanten Immobilien- und Schiffskrediten in Analystenstudien immer wieder als Wackelkandidat beim Stresstest genannt worden.
Offizielle Ergebnisse für alle rund 130 Teilnehmer an der Belastungsprobe sollen am 26. Oktober vorgestellt werden. Die größten Banken in der Euro-Zone mussten sich einer eingehenden Bilanzprüfung und anschließend einem Krisenszenario stellen. Dabei mussten sie nachweisen, dass sie auch nach einer tiefgreifenden Wirtschaftskrise in drei Jahren noch ausreichend Eigenkapital hätten.
Die EZB wollte sich zu den Informationen nicht äußern. Eine Sprecherin sagte aber, alle Rückschlüsse auf den Ausgang des Tests seien hochspekulativ, weil die endgültigen Ergebnisse noch nicht vorlägen. Die Commerzbank lehnte eine Stellungnahme ab.
