Dem Hersteller von Medikamenten und Seren auf der Basis von Antikörpern und Blutplasma kommt die Entschärfung des Wettbewerbs bei Immunglobulinen zugute: Der wichtige Wettbewerber, Octapharma, musste wegen Qualitätsmängeln in Europa seine Präparate Ende September vom Markt nehmen. Auch in den USA werden die Mittel derzeit nicht mehr auf den Markt gebracht.
