Wachstumsunternehmen mit guten Gewinnen
3D-Druck gilt zwar derzeit als Krisenbranche, aber das gilt in Wirklichkeit nur für die vielen Maschinenbauer, die mit zu geringen Stückzahlen und hohen Kosten alle gleichartige Innovationen in den Markt drücken wollen. Proto Labs dagegen ist eine "3-D-Druckerei", ein Anwender, und die profitieren von dem Überangebot an neuartigen Maschinen, wenn sie den Markt gut kennen, und die neuesten Innovationen gut nutzen können. Proto Labs setzt verschiedene Technologien zum Formenbau für Prototypen und Kleinserien ein. 3-D-Druck ist nur ein Segment von vielen, dieses Segment wächst aber mit 79% im Jahresvergleich. Die aktuellen Q-Zahlen: Umsatz $67.8 Mio bei 24% Wachstum und einer Bruttomarge von 59,4% nach 58,7% im Vorjahresquartal. Nettogewinn $12.4 Mio.
Die Aktie ist natürlich teuer, aber diese Firma floriert und expandiert. Kürzlich hat Proto Labs den größten Teil des operativen Geschäfts der insolventen deutschen Alphaform übernommen. Dadurch dürfte sich das 3D-Druck-Wachstum in Zukunft noch beschleunigen.
