Prima Klima für den Biokraftstoff-Hersteller Verbio: 2018/19 war das bisher erfolgreichste Geschäftsjahr in der Firmengeschichte. Der Umsatz kletterte auf 779,3 Millionen Euro. Das Ergebnis vor Zinsen, Steuern und Abschreibungen lag mit 95,1 Millionen Euro mehr als doppelt so hoch wie im Vorjahr. Die Energiewende zeige Wirkung, freute sich Vorstandschef Claus Sauter. So wurde im Segment Biomethan mit 706,6 Gigawattstunden ein neuer Produktionsrekord erreicht. Zudem wurden rund 721.000 Tonnen Biodiesel und Bioethanol hergestellt. Die Verbio-Aktie hat in diesem Jahr gut 35 Prozent zugelegt.
