Bill Ackman started Pershing Square Capital Management in 2004. Since then, he's become famous as an activist investor. He's also become very wealthy. Ackman's net worth is estimated to be around $3.5 billion.

Unlike some of his fellow billionaire investors, Ackman's portfolio isn't very big. He currently owns only six stocks. The hedge fund manager doesn't appear to be all that concerned about diversification, but there's an old saying that quality is better than quantity.
